The couple exchanged vows overlooking the Pacific Ocean with the stunning Pelican Hill rotunda serving as the focal point of their ceremony. The design was sophisticated yet fresh, combining classic white florals with bold black accents and lush palm foliage.

White orchids added an elegant, tropical touch, while glossy black details brought a modern edge to the otherwise soft and romantic design. The result was a coastal-inspired wedding that felt elevated, contemporary, and timeless.

A Wedding Design Filled with Personal Details

One of the things we loved most about Jessica and Jon’s wedding was how much of their personalities were incorporated throughout the day.

Jessica is incredibly talented and creative, and her eye for design was evident from the very beginning. She designed elements of her own wedding, including the invitations, creating a cohesive aesthetic that carried beautifully throughout the celebration.

Our team was thrilled to bring that vision to life through several custom design elements, including a custom Welcome Mirror, elegant menus, and a one-of-a-kind seating chart.

The seating chart was particularly spectacular. Featuring beautiful calligraphy on black acrylic panels, each panel was displayed on sleek black boxes and surrounded by dramatic palm leaves. The combination of the black acrylic, white lettering, and tropical greenery created a sophisticated installation that immediately captured guests’ attention as they entered the reception.

It was the perfect example of how thoughtful details can transform a functional wedding element into a memorable design statement.

An Elegant Reception Under the Stars

Following the ceremony, guests gathered for an unforgettable evening of dining, dancing, and celebration.

The reception embraced the same sophisticated black, white, and tropical green color palette while allowing the natural beauty of The Resort at Pelican Hill to remain a star of the evening. As the sun set over the Pacific, twinkling string lights created a magical atmosphere and added a warm, romantic glow to the celebration.

And when it was time to dance, the couple and their guests took over a sleek black dance floor. American Events Network kept the party going with incredible entertainment, creating an energetic celebration that had guests dancing throughout the night.

Between the incredible cuisine, exceptional service, gorgeous setting, and packed dance floor, the evening was everything a luxury Newport Beach wedding should be.
