The day that you receive those wedding photos in your inbox from your photographer is one of the most exciting times of your life, a part from the wedding day itself. You get to relive that special day! Which is why we highly recommend thinking about all of those cherished moments you want coverage for ahead of time. The pros (your photographer) will likely prompt you and ask which photos are most important to you in advance, but if you have a certain vision of various shots or have unique elements you would like to be captured that day, be sure to communicate this with your photographer. We have included 5 types of pictures below for you to consider that you will be sure to love having from the big day. So read on below and take notes!

All of the First LooksNotice how we say "first looks", as in plural? You will of course want your photographer to capture the moment you and your groom (or bride) see each other for the first time, but you may also want to consider a first look with your parents, siblings, or bridal party. These moments bring a lot of emotion and are wonderful to capture. And, bonus---these photos will make great gifts for family members and bridal party in the future![/et_pb_blurb][et_pb_image _builder_version="3.6" src="https://agapeplanning.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/Orange-County-Fashion-Island-Hotel-Wedding-Planning_015.jpg" align="center" max_width="72%" custom_margin="-22px|||" /][et_pb_image _builder_version="3.6" src="https://agapeplanning.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/Orange-County-The-Ranch-at-Laguna-Beach-Wedding-Planning_6654.jpg" align="center" max_width="72%" custom_margin="-22px|||" /][et_pb_blurb _builder_version="3.6" content_max_width="865px" custom_margin="-22px|||"]The Groom Starting His DayThe groom often gets overlooked, but make sure to schedule some time for your photographer to shoot any of the groom's pre-wedding activities with his groomsmen, or at the very least his details! Pre-wedding activities can include anything from getting a hot shave at a barber shop, to playing pool, or scheduling an early tee time for a short round of golf with the guys. The photographer can also simply capture the groom's details as he is getting ready (shoes, cufflinks, cologne, jacket, and tie). Moments of his parents or groomsmen tying his tie or helping him put on his jacket are important shots to capture as well.[/et_pb_blurb][et_pb_image _builder_version="3.6" src="https://agapeplanning.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/012-SJ-The-MacArthur-Los-Angeles-Wedding-Photography-e1524850225615.jpg" align="center" max_width="72%" custom_margin="-22px|||" /][et_pb_image _builder_version="3.6" src="https://agapeplanning.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/0951-RV-Huntington-Beach-Hyatt-Wedding-Photography-e1524850307673.jpg" align="center" max_width="72%" custom_margin="-22px|||" /][et_pb_blurb _builder_version="3.6" content_max_width="865px" custom_margin="-22px|||"]
