With full disclosure—we are completely biased—but Tristen & Julie’s wedding truly was nothing short of spectacular. And how could it not be? Julie is one of our beloved Agape Planning Team Associates, and watching her step into her own wedding day was incredibly special for all of us.

From the very beginning, Tristen and Julie knew they wanted a venue that felt unique, personal, and inspiring. They found exactly that at Villa Rosa, a private estate tucked into the rolling hillside countryside of Fallbrook, California. The setting alone felt cinematic—peaceful, expansive, and effortlessly romantic.

A Hilltop Ceremony with Unforgettable Views

Their ceremony took place at the very top of the estate, perched above the surrounding hills with a breathtaking 180-degree view of the countryside. The moment felt intimate yet grand all at once. While Tristen and Julie chose their closest friends to be part of the ceremony, it was just the two of them standing at the altar, sharing their vows in a deeply personal exchange.

They were flanked by gorgeous, colorful florals and lanterns designed by Jenny B Floral Design, which added warmth, texture, and a joyful pop of color against the natural landscape. As the breeze rolled through the hills and the sunlight softened, it was one of those moments that felt timeless and utterly magical.

Dinner, Dancing & a Sunset to Remember

Following the ceremony, guests remained on the same outdoor terrace for dinner and dancing—allowing the celebration to flow seamlessly from one moment to the next. As the sun dipped behind the foothills, the sky transformed into a dreamy palette of warm hues, leaving guests absolutely in awe (and creating the most stunning golden-hour photos for the couple).

Under a canopy of twinkle lights, the evening unfolded into a joyful celebration filled with laughter, connection, and nonstop dancing.

A Tablescape Designed with Heart (and Handwritten Love)

Julie poured her heart and creativity into every detail, especially the reception tablescapes—which was nothing short of a designer’s dream. Each table featured:

Lush, colorful floral arrangements
Brass and gold candlesticks glowing in candlelight
Gold chargers layered with intention
Soft blue napkins tied with velvet ribbon
Vibrant wine goblets that added playful personality
Handwritten, personalized name cards for every single guest

It was thoughtful, layered, and deeply personal—an expression of Julie’s artistry and love for the people gathered to celebrate with them.

Music, Fashion & Creative Details That Stole the Show

Adding to the magic, Tristen—an incredibly talented musician—kicked off the dancing with his own band, instantly filling the night with energy and soul. It was the perfect reflection of who he is and made the celebration feel even more authentic.

Julie’s bridal style was equally inspired. Beyond her stunning wedding gown, she incorporated charming fashion moments throughout the day—long silk gloves for cake cutting, a flowing white silk scarf for sunset portraits, the tradional red Ao dai and other thoughtful apparel changes that felt playful, chic, and completely her.

And one of our favorite creative touches? The seating chart, which doubled as a gallery-style art wall. Guests lingered, admired, and delighted in the unexpected design—just one more example of how this wedding blurred the line between celebration and art.

Tristen & Julie’s wedding was everything we adore about meaningful celebrations: fun, creative, deeply personal, and incredibly beautiful. From the hilltop vows to the twinkle-lit dancing, every moment reflected who they are—individually and together.
