When our birthday girl, Pam, came to us with a vision inspired by the breathtaking Amalfi Coast of Italy, we couldn't wait to bring it to life. The result was an elegant, joy-filled celebration that transported guests to the sun-drenched cliffs of the Mediterranean—without ever leaving Newport Beach.

Hosted at the beautiful Big Canyon Country Club, every detail was thoughtfully designed to capture the effortless beauty, vibrant colors, and relaxed sophistication of the Italian coastline.

A Coastal Palette Inspired by the Italian Riviera

The design embraced a fresh and timeless palette of soft blues, crisp whites, warm creams, and vibrant pops of lemon yellow. Inspired by the charming seaside villages of Positano and Ravello, the décor blended refined elegance with playful Mediterranean charm.

Lush floral arrangements were accented with fresh lemons, creating cheerful bursts of color throughout the celebration. Every design element worked together to evoke the feeling of dining at a luxurious seaside villa overlooking the sparkling Mediterranean Sea.

Pam looked absolutely stunning, selecting an outfit that perfectly complemented the coastal-inspired aesthetic and effortlessly embodied the elegance of the day.

An Inviting Lounge Designed for Celebration

Guests were welcomed into beautifully curated patio featuring a mix of white upholstered furniture, natural wicker textures, soft blue accents, and cheerful yellow details. The relaxed seating areas invited everyone to gather, sip cocktails, and enjoy meaningful conversation while soaking in the warm California evening.

The atmosphere felt intimate, sophisticated, and wonderfully transportive—proof that thoughtful design can instantly whisk guests away to another destination.

Dining Under the Stars

As the evening unfolded, guests gathered on the terrace beneath glowing string lights and colorful lanterns in shades of blue, yellow, and woven wicker. The ambiance was warm, inviting, and reminiscent of an evening spent dining along Italy's picturesque coastline. Further adding to the ambience, was a strolling magician and live guitarist, which added to the fun and mood of the event.

The culinary experience celebrated the flavors of Italy with an incredible selection of authentic cuisine paired with decadent wines. Signature blue-inspired cocktails and refreshing mocktails added a playful nod to the sparkling waters of the Amalfi Coast while perfectly complementing the event's color palette.
