Ashley Powell felt her calling to be a wedding coordinator over eight years ago when she began planning her own wedding. She realized how much work went into making her day special that she began to assist friends who were also planning their weddings. A few short months later Ashley’s business, Agape Planning, was born.
Over the past several years, Ashley has coordinated and planned several different types of weddings and special events, at numerous event locations in Texas, Florida, Hawaii, Nevada and of course right here in Southern California. Her services are recommended by several venues and service providers, including the Richard Nixon Library and the Anaheim White House & Catering, to name a few.
Beginning in 2007, Ashley expanded her coordination and planning services to include management and staffing services offered to top notch caterers and special event production companies. Her experience and qualifications in coordinating an entire event made overseeing the details associated with these different companies at their events smooth and cohesive. Her clients have been extremely happy with Agape Planning’s services and staff.
Ashley continues to prove that her desire is to provide excellent, professional coordination services while at the same time maintaining high quality and detailed management that affords all of her clients the ability to sit back and enjoy their special event or wedding. She strives to make every event Agape Planning coordinates seamless.
Originally from north San Diego, Ashley currently lives with her family in south Orange County, California. She attended the University of Southern California, graduating top in her class in the Lloyd Greif Center for Entrepreneurial Studies in the Marshall School of Business where she received the highest honor given within the Entrepreneurship Program: the Marcia Israel Award, determined by vote of both the faculty and students of the program.
